2002 : Experimental AutoPilot with integral
GPS to replace aircraft gyros. Implemented with Rabbit
processor, programmed in Dynamic-Cİ (Z-World). Has dot
matrix LCD for user interface.
Dec 2002 :
Air/Auto Charger for laptops and other portable
devices. Several user-programmable voltage and current
limit ranges. Implemented with PIC16F873 in assembly
language.
Jan 2003 :
Dental UV Lamp for rapid curing of dental
adhesives and fillings. A small battery-operated device
that uses a 5W LED in the UV spectrum. Implemented with
Atmel AVR ATTiny15L.
Feb 2003 :
DVD VF Display Subsystem to drive Chip-On-Glass
vacuum fluorescent display via a serial interface.
Implmented with Atmel AVR AT90S8515.
Mar 2003 : Blood Pressure Instrument to replace
mercury instruments in hospitals and
doctors' offices. Implemented with Atmel AVR
ATmega16L, Software using UML with
VisualState and IAR C Compiler. FDA 510K
device.
April 2003:
Commercial LightingControl for modulation of 8
channels of high intensity LEDs of various colors.
Provides user programmable color blending and pattern
effects. Uses Atmel AVR ATmega16L programmed in C.
Development of production version, with custom injected
molded case designed by GMA.
April 2003:
Personal Race Timer prototype for track, bike, and other
athletic events. Training stopwatch with unique sensing
technology for simplified setup at the finish line. Uses
Atmel 16L processor, with code in C.
May 2003:
Surround Sound Processor for decoding
Dolby-encoded audio sources. Has Ethernet port for
remote control and configuration. Implemented with Atmel
AVR ATmega128, Visual State, and IAR C compiler.
May 2003:
Completed feasibility study for 3rd generation Dental UV
Lamp with enhanced UV light output and expanded
functionality; for curing dental composites. Involved
complex thermal and optical systems analysis.
June 2003:
Development of production version of Personal Race Timer
launched. Will have injection molded case and elastomeric
rubber keypads, with custom LCD display.
